Make the Switch for Privacy

Hosted by Internet Society Belgium Chapter

On Friday 22th at 6pm CET, we’ll hold an online event to debate about the danger of a new project of Law in Belgium. A request in this project of Law is to enable public authorities to access, on request, to any communication over Internet, with the aim of combating crime. However, if voted in, would introduce security weaknesses in electronic communications endangering everyone. Moreover, criminals could exploit this security weakness.

Learn how encryption is protecting our privacy, and does much more than that, protecting e-commerce and any online activity.

We’ll show you all the actions that Internet Society, Global Encryption Coalition and your local chapter took to make the switch and make this project of Law to be adapted.

Time: 4pm
